The material is resistant to running stitches and gives the Fixpants an underwear-like appearance with a clearly visible wetness indicator. The Fixpants have soft cuffs, skin-friendly, air-permeable material and an elongated leg base to ensure a high level of comfort. The size is colour-coded on the waistband to facilitate the work of the nursing staff. The Fixpants can be washed up to 50 times at 60°C in a laundry net without losing their shape and are tumble dryable at low temperatures. Classified as a Class I non-sterile medical device according to Directive 93/42/EWG and the FDA-requirements. Fixpants are gender neutral and can be used by both bedridden and mobile persons.
