Instructions for use of the article Cellacare Malleo Classic Ankle Support Size 2: The Cellacare Malleo Classic ankle support is a knitted support with a compression effect that can improve proprioception. It can be worn on both the right and left ankle. The bandage is available in the colour black/green and is size 2 with an ankle circumference of 21-24 cm. Areas of application for the brace are ligament injuries to the upper ankle joint (grade 1), mild chronic ligament instability, mild local general hypermobility, arthrosis, arthritis, perimalleolar swelling, joint effusion and intra-articular irritation. The application is done in three steps: first the upper part of the bandage is folded over, then the bandage is pulled over the foot until the heel part is tight, and finally the upper part is folded back again. Important notes on the use of the Cellacare Malleo Classic Ankle Brace are that it should only be used on the orders of a doctor and that correct application should be demonstrated by trained professionals during first use. The brace should not be worn during prolonged periods of rest and can be washed at 30°C if necessary.
