Minoxicutan Women 20 mg/ml Spray is a medicinal product for the treatment of female pattern hair loss. It contains the active ingredient minoxidil, which promotes hair growth and stabilises the course of androgenetic alopecia. Female-type hair loss is characterised by uneven thinning of the hair in the area of the crown and the front of the scalp. Minoxicutan female 20 mg/ml is applied 2 times daily to a dry scalp. Two different pump spray applicators are available for use. The recommended daily dose is 1 ml solution twice. The duration of treatment is usually 2 to 4 months, but may vary depending on individual hair growth. There may be increased hair loss initially, but this is accompanied by increased regrowth of new hair. The solution is not suitable for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
