Directions for use of the article Minoxicutan Men 50 mg/ml Spray. Minoxicutan Men 50 mg/ml is a medicinal product for the treatment of male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia). It stabilises the progression of hair loss in the tonsure area of the scalp in adult men between 18 and 49 years of age. The treatment can counteract the progression of hair loss. The onset and extent of effect may vary from individual to individual. Hair growth is stimulated by shortening the resting phase of the hair follicles. Certain contraindications should be taken into account before use. Minoxicutan Men 50 mg/ml must not be used if you are allergic to minoxidil or any of the other ingredients, in women, if there is cosmetically disturbing reversible hair growth on the face, if other medicines are used at the same time on the scalp, if a dressing or bandage is used on the scalp, if there is sudden or uneven hair loss, if the scalp is damaged or if you have certain diseases of the scalp. Precautions should be observed, especially in cases of hormonal causes, underlying diseases or malnutrition. Minoxicutan Men 50 mg/ml should only be used on normal, healthy scalps. It must not be used if the cause of hair loss is unknown or if the scalp is red, inflamed or painful. Furthermore, certain groups of people, such as patients with cardiovascular diseases or high blood pressure, should not use the medicine. In case of side effects or severe skin reactions, the application should be discontinued. The application is made on the dry scalp. The recommended dose is 1 ml twice daily, which is sprayed directly onto the affected areas in the tonsure area and spread with the fingertips. The duration of application may vary individually, but usually 2-4 months are required to observe an effect. Application should be continued continuously to maintain hair growth.
