The Avitale psyllium seeds are a food and a natural product without additives.They are rich in mucus-forming fiber, with at least 80 grams of fiber per 100 grams.The psyllium seeds come from controlled organic cultivation and have a purity of at least 99 percent.They are ideal for a vegetarian and vegan diet.

The nutritional value declaration per 100 grams of psyllium seeds shows the following values: The calorific value is 792 kJ or 189 kcal.The fat content is 0.55 grams, of which 0.1 grams are saturated fatty acids.The carbohydrates amount to 1.73 grams, including 0.6 grams of sugar.The protein content is 2.38 grams and the salt content is 0.008 grams. These values may be subject to natural fluctuations.

The recommended daily consumption is two level teaspoons, which should be stirred into around 300 milliliters of water and drunk.It is important not to consume the psyllium seeds dry and to drink a sufficient amount of liquid, around one to two liters of water, every day.Psyllium seeds are also ideal as an ingredient in muesli or yoghurt.
