Directions for use for Oxysafe Liquid mouth rinse: Oxysafe Liquid Professional is a mouth rinse that uses a patented active oxygen-based technology. This technology becomes active when it comes into contact with the skin or mucous membrane. The solution contains the patented Ardox-X technology, which is activated when exposed to saliva. The active oxygen that is released has a positive effect on the treatment of inflamed gums and other wounds. Oxysafe Liquid Professional is used for the treatment of gingivitis, periodontitis and periimplantitis. It must not be used in combination with metal implants/prostheses (except titanium). Oxysafe Liquid Professional is used by rinsing or brushing the mouth with 10 ml of the solution three times a day for one minute each time. It is recommended not to rinse the mouth with water afterwards. Use of the solution should be discontinued once the patient has recovered from periodontal disease and should not last longer than six months. Oxysafe Liquid Professional is a clear to slightly opaque, colourless liquid available in a 250 ml bottle. The mouth rinse does not contain peroxides, radicals, antibiotics or chlorhexidine. It shows a proven reduction of bacteria and gum pocket depth by at least 56% and is also recommended for diabetics with chronic wounds. The solution destroys harmful anaerobic bacteria and accelerates wound healing through active oxygen technology. Oxysafe Liquid Professional is developed for home use and can be used with an enclosed measuring cup to prevent contamination.
