Grintuss cough lozenges adults with poliresin are a 100% natural product for the treatment of coughs. The lozenges are based on honey and the plant molecule complex poliresin. They protect the upper respiratory tract and soothe its irritation. The tablets are gluten-free and contain ingredients from sustainable and organic cultivation. They are suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. The mode of action of Grintuss cough lozenges consists of various non-pharmacological mechanisms. The tablets provide a barrier function by forming a protective film on the mucous membrane and protecting it from irritants. They also have a moisturising effect by moistening the mucous membrane in the throat area. In addition, they have a lubricating effect that reduces the friction in the throat that causes the cough. The tablets soothe the cough without suppressing it, respecting the important role it plays in the defence for the upper respiratory tract. It is recommended to dissolve 1 tablet slowly in the mouth 2 to 4 times a day. The tablets should not be used in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more ingredients. The tablets also contain cane sugar, gum arabic, natural peppermint and eucalyptus aroma and essential oils of peppermint and eucalyptus.
