Areas of application

Grintuss Adult Cough Syrup is suitable for treating coughs caused by irritation of the mucous membranes in the upper respiratory tract.It is suitable for adults and teenagers aged 12 and over.

Mode of action

Grintuss protects the mucous membrane by calming irritation and moisturizing the mucous membrane.It works in three non-pharmacological ways: it forms a protective film that adheres to the mucous membrane and protects against irritants, moistens the mucous membrane in the throat area and reduces the friction in the throat that triggers coughing.Grintuss softens the cough without suppressing it, thus respecting the cough's important role in defense for the upper respiratory tract.

Grintuss adult cough syrup contains the following functional ingredients: honey, molecular complex of resins, polysaccharides and flavonoids from grindelia, ribwort plantain and strawflower (Poliresin®) with a polysaccharide content of at least 20%.It also contains cane sugar, water, essential oils from eucalyptus, star anise and lemon, natural lemon aroma, gum arabic and xanthan gum.All ingredients marked with an asterisk (*) come from controlled organic cultivation.

Contraindications

If you are hypersensitive or allergic to one or more ingredients, Grintuss Adult Cough Syrup should not be used.

Dosage

It is recommended to take 10 ml (equivalent to 2 measuring spoons) of Grintuss adult cough syrup two to four times a day.The last dose should be before going to bed.The cough syrup should be shaken well before use.The bottle should be carefully closed after use and the measuring spoon cleaned thoroughly.Once opened, the cough syrup should be used within three months.A practical measuring spoon is included in every pack.

If symptoms do not improve, consult a doctor.Grintuss Adult Cough Syrup should be stored at room temperature and away from heat and light.It should also be kept out of the reach of children.The expiry date refers to the unopened and properly stored product.One measuring spoon (5 ml) contains approx. 0.404 bread units (BE).
