Active ingredient

The active ingredient in ACC® acute 600 mg cough solver, effervescent tablets, is acetylcysteine.Acetylcysteine is a derivative of the natural amino acid cysteine and dissolves so-called disulfide bridges in the mucus, which make the mucus tougher and thicker.This liquefies the mucus and makes it easier to cough up.

Ingredients

An effervescent tablet of ACC® acute 600 mg cough solver contains 600 mg acetylcysteine as the active ingredient.The other ingredients include ascorbic acid, citric acid, lactose, mannitol (Ph.Eur.), sodium carbonate, sodium citrate (Ph.Eur.), sodium cyclamate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, saccharin sodium and blackberry flavor (contains sorbitol and benzyl alcohol).

Warning notice

The product contains lactose, sorbitol, benzyl alcohol and sodium.Please note that you should not take the product if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients or suffer from bronchial asthma.

Dosage and application

Adolescents aged 14 and over and adults can dissolve a whole effervescent tablet once a day or half a effervescent tablet twice a day in a glass of water and drink the entire glass.It should be taken after meals, preferably in the morning.The daily dose of a maximum of one effervescent tablet per day should not be exceeded.

Instructions for use

See a doctor if symptoms worsen after four to five days or if there is no improvement.To support the effect of the medicine, you should drink plenty of fluids throughout the day.
