Instructions for use for ZINKSALBE-ratiopharm, 35 g

Zinc ointment-ratiopharm is traditionally used and supports wound healing. If there is no improvement in the affected skin area or the symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted. The ointment contains zinc oxide, cod liver oil and glycerol 85%. It should be applied to the affected skin areas once or several times a day and can be covered with a bandage if necessary. The ointment should not be used if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients or if the wound is infected. Side effects such as itching, reddening of the skin or allergic reactions may occur. The medicine should be protected from heat and used within 12 months after opening. For more information, see the package leaflet.
