Zincite 10 effervescent tablets are a zinc preparation for the treatment of clinically confirmed zinc deficiencies, provided they cannot be corrected by dietary means. The recommended dose is 1 effervescent tablet dissolved in water 1-2 times a day (corresponding to 10-20 mg zinc), to be taken before a meal. The duration of use depends on the therapeutic success. No special precautions should be taken. For pregnant women, the intake is only allowed in case of proven zinc deficiency. In case of overdose, symptoms such as metallic taste, headache and nausea may occur. The effervescent tablets should be taken on an empty stomach.
