A daily dose of 5 ml (1 teaspoon) contains 2,000 mg of omega-3 fatty acids, including EPA and DHA. The algae oil is extracted from the marine microalgae Schizochytrium, which is rich in these valuable fatty acids. Omega-3 Vegan is 100% vegan and also contains vitamin D3 from a plant source. The omega 3 algae oil is good. I also like the addition of vitamin D3. This is a good supplement, especially for vegans and vegetarians. However, it bothers me that olive oil is also added.
