Dr. Jacobs Vitamin D3 Oil forte is a food supplement containing high doses of vitamin D3 drops. Each drop contains 50 µg vitamin D3, which corresponds to 2000 I.U.. The oil-based vitamin D3 is optimally bioavailable. Vitamin D3 contributes to the support of the immune system, the maintenance of bones and muscles as well as normal cell division. Especially from the age of 60, taking vitamin D can reduce the risk of falls associated with physical instability and muscle weakness. In addition to taking vitamin D3, it is recommended to also take vitamin K2, as well as magnesium and potassium, as they work synergistically to help maintain normal bones. People with kidney problems or elevated calcium levels should consult their doctor before taking vitamin D.
