Information for use of the article Zinkorot 25 mg Tabletten: - Indications: For the treatment of zinc deficiency conditions that cannot be corrected by normal diet. - Active substance: Zinc orotate - Dosage: Adults should take 1/2 to 1 tablet daily before a meal with sufficient liquid. - Side effects: So far, side effects have been observed only rarely. - Contraindications: Use should be avoided in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Children and adolescents under 18 years of age should not use the medicine. - Important information: Interactions with other medicinal products may occur. Persons with certain allergies should be cautious. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use. - Composition: Contains orotic acid, zinc salt-2-water and zinc ion. - Mode of action: Zinc is a vital trace element that influences the function of vitamins and enzymes and has an effect on cell growth and the immune system. - Storage information: Do not store above 25°C. - Commercial form: Available as tablets, supplier is Wörwag Pharma GmbH.
