Doppelherz aktiv Zink+Histidin+Vitamin C Depot-Tablets are a food supplement containing 15 mg zinc, 300 mg vitamin C and the amino acid L-histidine. Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system, cell division and the maintenance of normal skin. Vitamin C supports the immune system, protects cells from oxidative stress and contributes to iron absorption. Histidine is an essential amino acid that needs to be taken regularly with food. The tablets should be taken daily with sufficient liquid. They are lactose- and gluten-free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Children, adolescents, pregnant women and nursing mothers should not use the product. The tablets are manufactured by Queisser Pharma GmbH & Co KG.

I have been taking zinc and magnesium every morning for several years. I have hardly had any colds since then. As manufacturers keep changing formulations or taking products off the market, I came across this product from Doppelherz some time ago. I no longer want to do without it. Taking it once a day is great. And I keep ordering the relatively new 100-tablet value pack.
