Directions for use of the product Doppelherz aktiv Melatonin Gums: Doppelherz aktiv Melatonin Gums are food supplements with 1 mg melatonin, camomile blossom extract and vitamin B6. The gums have a fruity raspberry flavour and can be taken quickly and easily. They are sugar-free and contain no allergens. Melatonin helps to shorten the time it takes to fall asleep, so 1 Gum should be taken just before bedtime. The Gums are packaged in a tin that is fully recyclable. The ingredients of the gums include sweetener maltitol, modified starch, maltodextrin, acidity regulator citric acid, chamomile flower extract, colouring vegetable charcoal, vegetable oils (coconut, rapeseed), natural flavouring, vitamin B6, melatonin, sweetener steviol glycosides from stevia and coating agent carnauba wax. One daily portion (= 1 gum) contains 1.4 mg vitamin B6, 1 mg melatonin and 20 mg chamomile flower extract. The food supplement should not be used by children, adolescents, pregnant and breastfeeding women and persons with liver, kidney or autoimmune diseases. Persons taking medicines should also consult a doctor or pharmacist before using melatonin. The use of melatonin should only be short-term for a maximum of 3 weeks. Excessive consumption may cause laxative effects. In addition, no alcohol should be consumed, as this can impair the effect of melatonin on sleep.
