The hyaluronic acid contained in the Hylo Dual Intense eye drops ensures even, stable and long-lasting moisturization of the surface of the eye.With a concentration of 0.2%, it is highly viscous and can relieve chronic complaints and permanently protect the eye from irritation.Due to the wetting, foreign bodies and irritants from the environment no longer penetrate the cornea as easily, which reduces the risk of inflammation.

Ectoin also supports the stabilization of the fatty phase of the tear film and prevents excessive evaporation of tear fluid.This natural substance is obtained from microorganisms that live in extreme conditions and protect themselves from drying out by producing ectoine.Ectoin increases water binding to the cells on the surface of the eye and soothes the stressed tissue, thereby alleviating inflammatory symptoms such as burning, itching and foreign body sensation.

Area of application

Hylo Dual Intense eye drops are especially suitable for chronically dry and irritated eyes with inflammatory symptoms.They are suitable for irritated, dry, burning, itchy, stressed and tired eyes.Possible causes include air conditioning, allergies, congenital dry eyes, computer work (office eye syndrome) and wearing contact lenses.

Mode of action

Ectoine also has excellent water-binding properties and stabilizes the fatty phase of the tear film.At the same time, ectoine serves to relieve typical symptoms such as burning, itching or redness, which can occur as inflammatory reactions to environmental irritations.The Hylo Dual Intense eye drops are free of preservatives and phosphates.The patented COMOD® system guarantees high yield and a long shelf life of 6 months.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.However, Hylo Dual Intense eye drops are not compatible with contact lenses due to their high viscosity.

Dosage

Recommended use of Hylo Dual Intense eye drops:

Only use Hylo Dual Intense eye drops if the seal on the folding box was intact before first use.

1. Remove the cap before each use.To do this, hold the cap just above the bottle and use your other hand to pull the bottle away from the cap using a twisting motion.Before using Hylo Dual Intense eye drops for the first time, please hold the bottle with the dropper tip vertically downwards and press the bottom of the bottle repeatedly until the first drop emerges from the tip of the bottle.The bottle is then ready for use for the following applications.

2. Hold the bottle with the dropper tip facing down by placing your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle and the other fingers on the bottom of the bottle.

3. Rest your hand with the COMOD® bottle on your free hand.

4. Tilt your head back a little, pull the lower eyelid slightly away from your eye with your free hand and press quickly and firmly in the middle on the bottom of the bottle.This activates the mechanism for removing a drop.Due to the special valve technology of the COMOD® system, the size and speed of the drop is always the same, even when very strong pressure is applied to the bottom of the bottle.Slowly close your eyes to allow the liquid to spread evenly over the surface of the eye.

5. After use, carefully close the dropper tip with the cap immediately.Please make sure the dropper tip is dry.When dripping, avoid contact of the dropper tip with your eyes or facial skin.

10 Ml of solution can be taken from the bottle;this corresponds to approximately 300 drops.For production reasons, a small amount of liquid always remains in the bottle.The duration of use of Hylo Dual Intense eye drops is not limited.The contents of one bottle of Hylo Dual Intense eye drops should always be used on the same person.

Application

Step 1: Remove the protective cap before use.

Step 2: Hold the bottle with the dropper tip facing down.Place your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle and the other fingers on the bottom of the bottle.

Step 3: Lightly support the hand holding the bottle with your other hand.

Step 4: Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid slightly with your other hand.Apply strong pressure to the bottom of the bottle and drip the drop into the conjunctival sac.Thanks to the special COMOD® pump system, exactly 1 drop comes out.Slowly close your eye to distribute the liquid over the surface of the eye.After use, immediately close the dropper tip with the cap.

Note for contact lens wearers: Hylo Dual Intense cannot be used with contact lenses due to its high viscosity.
