Information for use with the article Isla med akut Throat Pastilles: - The throat pastilles contain an aqueous extract of Iceland moss, carbomer, xanthan gum and sodium hyaluronate. - They are used to relieve typical cold and throat complaints such as coughing and hoarseness. - The pastilles protect the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat and stimulate the flow of saliva. - The water-binding capacity of the xanthan gum and the swelling capacity of the carbomer form a protective film over the irritated mucous membranes. - The hyaluronic acid contained develops a moisturising film on the surface of the mucous membranes. - The dry residue from the Iceland moss dissolves when sucked and spreads pleasantly in the mouth, throat and pharynx. - The mucous membranes can regenerate and typical cold and throat complaints are relieved. - Adults and children from 6 years of age can suck up to 6 pastilles daily. - The pastilles contain sugar substitutes, but no tables, bold or h tags or colour tags.
