Gingium 80 mg Film-Coated Tablets are used to treat mental performance impairment associated with dementia syndromes. The main complaints treated are memory disorders, concentration disorders, dejection, dizziness, ringing in the ears and headaches. It is also used to prolong pain-free walking distance in peripheral arterial disease. The recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet 2-3 times daily. It is used by swallowing the unchewed tablets with sufficient liquid. The duration of treatment is at least 8 weeks. Headache, dizziness, gastrointestinal complaints and skin reactions may occur. Gingium 80 mg contains Ginkgo biloba leaf dry extract. It should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, increased bleeding tendency and during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
