About three and a half months ago, my GP had my omega-3 index determined by a special laboratory as part of an extended blood test: 5.61% (normal value: 8% - 11%). As a result, I was instructed to take 20 grams of omega-3 supplements per day (i.e. two capsules per day, one capsule contains 1,000 mg = 10 grams) for three months. Today - after another blood test - I received the positive result: my omega-3 index is currently 10.4 %!

The supplement is important if you don't include enough fish in your diet. I think the capsules are great, they are highly dosed and one pack lasts for 3 months. The price-performance ratio is also excellent!

I have been taking Omega 3 regularly for years, and the Vitamize Omega 3 contains a very high dose of EPA (400 mg) and DPA (300 mg) per capsule. The tin contains 90 softgel capsules. The pack says you should only take one capsule a day, I take 6 a day! Of course, everyone has to decide for themselves how much to take, but another important aspect for me was that the product is completely free from genetically modified ingredients, pesticides, fungicides, artificial fertilisers or other harmful substances. In addition, the product contains pure fish oil, which is why the tablet has a fishy odour - but this is normal! This product is good value for money!
