Isla med akut citrus-honey pastilles are used to moisturise and protect dry mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx and relieve cold, sore throat and voice complaints. The pastilles contain a hydrogel complex of carbomer and xanthan gum with hyaluronic acid, which forms a protective film over the irritated mucous membranes and provides moisture. They also contain an extract of Iceland moss, which spreads soothingly in the mouth, throat and pharynx when sucked and stimulates the flow of saliva. Isla med akut citrus-honey pastilles can be used by adults and children from 6 years of age. The dosage depends on need - adults and children can suck up to 6 pastilles daily. The pastilles have a fruity citrus-honey taste and do not contain menthol, so they can also be used during homeopathic treatment. There are no known contraindications for the product. Pregnant and breastfeeding women can use the product. Taking it in excessive quantities can have a laxative effect and cause stomach problems.
