The beecraft® Propolis oral gel is a product that protects and cares for stressed and irritated mucous membranes through the combination of natural ingredients such as propolis extract, sage, chamomile and myrrh.It can be used both in the mouth and for regular care of chapped or chapped lips.Applied to the oral mucosa or gums, it soothes mucous membrane irritations and inflammations.Small blisters, aphthae and cracks in the mouth disappear and pressure points, for example caused by dental prostheses or braces, are alleviated.The mouth gel is characterized by good adhesion, has a pleasant taste and is suitable for children.It is the improved successor to the product “Sanhelios Aagaard Propolis Mouth Gel”.

Propolis has proven particularly useful for medical oral and dental care due to its germ-inhibiting and anti-inflammatory properties.Used as an oral care duo, beecraft® Propolis toothpaste and beecraft® Propolis drops (mouthwash concentrate) are particularly gentle on teeth and gums and are therefore also recommended for mouth areas that are prone to problems.The beecraft® Propolis oral gel rounds off the Propolis oral and dental care range, especially for the care of irritations or localized inflammations of the oral mucosa, for example due to wearing a denture.

Propolis oral and dental care with a natural triple effect: Propolis has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect, prevents periodontal disease, gum problems and bad breath and strengthens the gums to make them resilient.

Mode of action

The active ingredient propolis is the valuable protective resin of honey bees.The raw material is collected as a resinous substance from buds and bark of various trees and processed into the finished propolis by adding ferments, pollen and wax.Only about 60-100 g can be “harvested” from a beehive per year.Similar to honey harvesting, propolis is extracted without affecting life in the beehive.

The composition of propolis is different in each region, depending on the trees and plants.However, the positive effects on the beehive are comparable all over the world: This is characterized by the content of secondary plant substances, the so-called polyphenols or phytamines.These occur as bioactive substances in all plants and largely determine the quality of propolis.

The beecraft® brand uses a standardized propolis that contains at least 30% phytamines (300 mg polyphenols/g propolis).A standardized manufacturing process and the unique combination of pure propolis from different regions of origin ensure a high diversity and a consistent concentration of the valuable ingredients.
