Gynella Silver Foam is a medical product for the treatment of vulvovaginitis, postpartum lesions and the prevention of herpes simplex virus (HSV 2) infections. It forms a protective barrier in the external genital area and protects the tissue from external irritants. The foam contains a complex of microcrystalline titanium dioxide with silver ions that forms a barrier and prevents the recurrence of infections. The hyaluronic acid contained has a film-forming effect and promotes the healing of lesions. The product also contains mallow extract, which has a moisturising and soothing effect. Before application, the affected area should be cleaned and dried. The foam should be applied once or several times a day and gently massaged in. It should only be used for its intended purpose and skin contact with the eyes should be avoided. Use should be discontinued in case of known hypersensitivity or abnormal skin reactions. The product is not suitable for internal use and not as a contraceptive. It does not contain any known interactions with other medicinal products.
