KadeFungin 3 vaginal cream is a means of treating fungal diseases, especially in women with dry vaginas.The active ingredient clotrimazole belongs to the group of broad-spectrum antimycotics and inhibits the growth and reproduction of fungal cells, such as budding fungi (yeast) and certain bacteria.This medicine is used for vaginal inflammation and discharge caused by fungi, usually Candida, as well as superinfections with bacteria sensitive to clotrimazole.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The vaginal cream contains the active ingredient clotrimazole in a concentration of 20 mg per gram of cream.In addition, it contains the following excipients: (RS)-2-octyldodecan-1-ol, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, purified water and benzyl alcohol.

Application and dosage

The vaginal cream is used once a day in the evening for three consecutive days using the applicator provided.Insert an applicator filling (approx. 5 g) into the vagina as deeply as possible.This is best done lying on your back with your legs slightly pulled up.If the external signs of the disease have not subsided after three days of treatment, you should consult your doctor.Forgotten applications can be made up the next morning, but only one applicator filling.

Contraindications and patient information

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients.If you are hypersensitive to any of the cream components, it is recommended to use a different dosage form.Please consult your doctor if you are under 18 years old, if you are experiencing the disease for the first time or if you have had more than four fungal infections within the last 12 months.If used at the same time as latex products, the functionality of these products may be reduced.

Pregnancy and special information

Before using any medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacy for advice.During pregnancy, treatment with vaginal cream should be carried out by a doctor or with vaginal tablets without an applicator.Treatment should not be carried out during menstruation or should be completed before it begins.If the labia or the partner is infected at the same time, additional local treatment should be carried out.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the pack.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.Keep medicines out of the reach of children.
