bogaprotect® SPOT-ON is a repellent tick and flea treatment for dogs based on the active ingredient eucalyptus citriodora oil, hydrated and cyclized.This oil is extracted from the leaves of the lemon eucalyptus tree and provides effective insect protection.The treatment works preventively, repelling ticks and fleas without killing them.This product is available without a prescription.

The solution is applied topically and provides long-lasting protection for approximately four weeks per application.A pack of three tubes (0.7 ml each) provides twelve weeks of protection.The product is suitable for dogs weighing 1 to 4 kg and is appropriate for animals from 16 weeks of age.Another advantage is that resistance cannot develop.

Application

To apply the product, the contents of one tube should be applied to the back of the dog's neck, near the base of the skull, every four weeks.Part the hair and apply the contents directly to the skin.The solution will then spread on its own.Applying it to the back of the neck reduces the likelihood of the animal licking the solution off.If there are multiple animals, mutual licking should be avoided after treatment.

The solution leaves no residue in the coat.Bathing and shampooing may reduce the duration of protection.If the dog has been bathed or shampooed, the treatment can be repeated after seven days.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in this product is hydrated, cyclized Eucalyptus citriodora oil, at a concentration of 30%.This active ingredient may cause allergic reactions.

Warnings

When handling the product, care should be taken to keep it out of the reach of children.Eye protection should be worn.In case of contact with eyes, rinse them cautiously with water for several minutes.Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do.If eye irritation persists, seek medical advice or ophthalmological care.

If swallowed, rinse the mouth thoroughly with water.Do not induce vomiting.Do not give anything to unconscious persons.In case of skin contact, wash the affected area with soap and water.In case of inhalation, remove the affected person from the danger zone and ensure fresh air.

If symptoms persist, consult a physician.Remove contaminated clothing and footwear and clean them thoroughly before reuse.Dispose of the contents and container in accordance with local, regional, national, and international regulations.
