bogaprotect® Spot-ON Dog M is a preventive tick and flea protection for dogs that repels ticks and fleas without killing them.The protection lasts about four weeks per application.A pack with three tubes (2.2 ml each) offers twelve weeks of protection.The product is suitable for dogs weighing 10 to 20 kg and can be used from 16 weeks of age.Another advantage is that no resistance can develop through its use.

No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

The tick and flea protection is based on the active ingredient Eucalyptus citriodora oil, hydrated, cyclized.This is obtained from the leaves of the lemon eucalyptus tree and is considered an effective insect repellent.The solution is applied dropwise and offers long-term preventative protection.One tube of the repellent solution will keep ticks and fleas away from your pet for about four weeks.

Application

Using bogaprotect® Spot-ON Dog M is easy.The contents of a tube should be applied to the dog's neck every four weeks.To do this, part your hair and apply the contents directly to the skin.The solution distributes itself.Applying it to the back of the neck near the base of the skull reduces the chance that the animal will lick the solution off.If there are several animals, licking each other should be avoided after treatment.

The solution leaves no residue on the fur.Bathing and shampooing can reduce the duration of protection.If the previously treated dog was bathed or shampooed, the treatment can be repeated after seven days.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in bogaprotect® Spot-ON Dog M is Eucalyptus citriodora oil, hydrated, cyclized, with a proportion of 30%.This active ingredient can cause allergic reactions.

Notes

Avoid contact with eyes as the solution may cause serious eye irritation.If contact occurs with eyes, rinse them gently with water for several minutes.Any contact lenses that may be present should be removed if possible.If eye irritation persists, you should seek medical advice or consult an ophthalmologist.

In case of skin contact, wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water.If swallowed, rinse mouth thoroughly with water and do not induce vomiting.Nothing should be given to unconscious people.If inhaled, move the affected person out of the danger zone and provide fresh air.

Contaminated clothing and shoes should be removed and thoroughly cleaned before reuse.If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.Disposal of contents and containers should be in accordance with local, regional, national and international regulations.
