PHA Spot-on drops for dogs are a product to repel fleas, ticks and other annoying skin parasites. These can cause health problems in dogs, such as itching, allergic skin reactions, infections of the bite site and the transmission of tapeworms and infectious diseases such as Lyme disease. The PHA spot-on drops are easy to apply and spread quickly as a silky film over the dog's skin and hair. They provide effective protection against fleas and ticks for about 4 weeks. In case of heavy flea infestation, it is recommended to treat the dog's environment with a suitable biocide as well. The dosage of the drops depends on the dog's body weight. They are applied drop by drop on the neck, along the spine and at the root of the tail. After an exposure time of 24-48 hours, the PHA spot-on drops develop their full efficacy, which remains even after wetness or a short bath. In case of a new infestation, the application should usually be repeated after approx. 4 weeks. The drops contain herbal active ingredients such as dodecanoic acid and margosa extract. They are available in a resealable tube which is sufficient for approx. 2 months. It is recommended to read the label and product information carefully before use.
