Vitamin E Hevert 200 IE is used to treat vitamin E deficiencies and helps to protect the body's cells from free radicals.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

The preparation is used to treat vitamin E deficiency.However, it is not suitable for cases where the absorption of vitamin E from the intestine is impaired.In such situations, parenteral preparations (syringes) are required.

Each capsule contains 200 mg DL-alpha-tocopherol acetate, which is equivalent to 200 IU (R,R,R)-alpha-tocopherol.In addition, the preparation contains beef gelatin, glycerol, refined soybean oil, sorbitol and purified water as excipients.

Contraindications

The preparation must not be taken if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients.

Dosage

Adults should take 1 to 2 soft capsules daily, equivalent to 200 to 400 mg of alpha-tocopherol acetate.Preparations with a lower active ingredient content are available for children.The duration of use depends on the course of the underlying disease and should be discussed with a doctor.

There are no known dangerous symptoms of an overdose.If a dose is missed, you should continue taking it as usual.

Intake

The soft capsules should be taken whole with a little liquid in the morning and/or evening with meals.If you have any further questions about use, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

No special precautions are required that affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

The recommended daily intake of vitamin E is 15 mg.The medicine crosses the placenta and is excreted in breast milk.So far, no harm has been observed in the unborn child, even at higher doses.Possible fertility disorders following vitamin E administration that are above the daily recommended dose have not been sufficiently investigated.
