The Biofanal® combination pack for vaginal fungus and candida infection of the external genital area consists of vaginal tablets and ointment containing the active substance nystatin. The medicine is used to treat infections of the vagina and external genital area caused by yeasts that are sensitive to nystatin. The symptoms of a fungal infection may include itching, burning, redness, swelling and discharge. The average duration of treatment is 2-4 weeks. The medicine is well tolerated and can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is important to read the package leaflet and consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. Use according to the instructions in the package leaflet. An overdose is unlikely, but should be monitored by a doctor. Do not use the medicine if you are allergic to antifungals. Store at room temperature and out of the reach of children. No special commercial forms are available.
