Area of application

Lausbub against lice Heumann pump spray is used in children from 6 months and adults to treat head lice.Head lice are usually transmitted through direct head-to-head contact and often affect children.In rare cases, transmission can also occur through contact with contaminated objects such as hats, scarves or combs.A head lice infestation causes severe itching, especially behind the ears and on the neck, and can lead to scratches on the scalp.To identify head lice, the hair and scalp should be thoroughly examined, particularly at the temples, back of the neck, and behind the ears.Head lice can be effectively combated with Lausbub against lice Heumann pump spray.

Mode of action

Lausbub against lice Heumann pump spray physically kills head lice by destroying the protective wax layer that covers the lice's shell.This causes the lice to dry out and die.The solution also makes it easier to subsequently comb out nits and dead lice with the included lice and nit comb.

The ingredients of Lausbub against lice Heumann pump spray are isopropyl myristate and cyclomethicone.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.Occasionally, temporary side effects such as itching, redness of the skin, tingling or burning of the scalp, dry scalp, peeling of the scalp, hair loss, skin markings after mechanical irritation or irritation in the eye area may occur.

Dosage

The amount of Lausbub against lice Heumann pump spray that is required to completely wet the scalp and hair varies depending on the length and condition of the hair.For short hair (up to the ear) 25 to 50 ml is recommended, for medium-length hair (up to the shoulder) 50 to 75 ml and for long hair (over the shoulder) 75 to 100 ml. Use on dry hair, avoiding contact with the eyes and protecting clothing with a towel until the hair is rinsed.

Step 1: Distribute the solution through dry hair.Apply a sufficient amount of Lausbub against lice Heumann pump spray to dry hair and distribute the solution evenly from the hair roots to the hair tips.Massage the solution well, especially behind the ears and in the neck area.Allow the solution to act for 10 minutes.

Step 2: Apply the wet comb method using the lice and nit comb.Comb each strand of hair individually from the hairline to the tips using the included lice and nit comb, whereby the comb should be placed directly on the scalp.Wipe the comb on a piece of paper towel after each stroke to check the lice and nits that have been removed.Rinse the comb to keep the hair wet and repeat this process until all lice and nits are removed.

Step 3: Washing the hair with a shampoo.Rinse the hair with plenty of warm water and then wash it with a shampoo for oily hair.Towel dry the hair and comb it.

Step 4: Repeat treatment.Since the treatment does not kill the nits, repeat treatment is necessary after 9 days (± 24 hours) to kill any newly hatched lice.To do this, repeat steps 1 to 3.

Pregnancy

There are no data for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, therefore use is not recommended.Please ask a doctor for advice before use.

Notes

Check all family members for lice infestation and, if necessary, use Lausbub against lice Heumann pump spray on them as well.Wash clothing, bed linen and, if necessary, plush toys at at least 60 °C.Place items that cannot be washed at 60°C in an airtight plastic bag for 3 days.For children between 6 months and 2 years, please only use it after consulting a doctor or pharmacist.Keep the product out of the reach of children and store it at a temperature between 15 and 30°C, away from direct sunlight.The product must no longer be used after the expiry date has expired.

The 150 ml pump spray makes it easier to apply the solution to the lengths of the hair and is therefore particularly suitable for long hair.
