Rheubalmin Bad is a bath preparation used for heat treatment.It contains various ingredients, including Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Isobornyl Alcohol, Methyl Salicylate, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Isobornyl Myristate, Sodium Chloride, Lavendula Angustifolia Oil, Isobornyl Acetate, Camphor, Sodium Sulfate, as well as the dyes CI 47005, CI 15985 and CI 42051 and linalool.

Application recommendations

Rheubalmin Bad is added to the running bath water.The amount of bath water depends on the size of the tub and the body type of the bather.

How to use for full baths

For a full bath, use 2 ml of Rheubalmin bath per 10 liters of bath water.This corresponds to around 4 to 6 caps.The initial temperature of the bath water should be 36°C.After getting into the bath, the water temperature can be increased by 2 to 3 degrees.The total duration of the bath is 15 to 20 minutes.A sweat pack is then recommended.

Sweat pack

After the bath, without drying yourself, you should wrap yourself in a sheet and, covered well, sweat for about 20 minutes.Then dry well and allow yourself to rest for 30 minutes.

Sitz baths

For a sitz bath, add about 4 caps to the bathtub.The bathing temperature starts at 36°C and can be increased by 2 to 3 degrees.The bathing time is 15 to 20 minutes, followed by a sweat pack.Then dry well and rest for about 30 minutes.

Partial bathrooms

For hand and forearm baths, add 5 to 10 ml, equivalent to 1 to 2 caps, to a container containing around 10 liters of water.For foot and lower leg baths, use 10 to 15 ml, equivalent to 2 to 3 caps, in a container with around 15 liters of water.The bathing temperature should be 38°C and the bathing time should be 10 to 15 minutes.Then apply a dry, warm compress and stay in bed.One bottle is enough for 6 to 10 full baths, depending on the amount of water.
