The MiniMed Quick Set is any infusion set with a soft cannula that impresses with its easy handling and high level of comfort.Thanks to the insertion vertically at a 90° angle, it is suitable for both children and adults of normal or stronger build.The Quick-Serter insertion aid enables the Quick-Set to be inserted easily and barely noticeable at the touch of a button.

Product features

The Quick-Set has a 90° soft cannula made of Teflon, which ensures a consistent insertion depth for optimal insulin absorption.Thanks to the Quick-Serter insertion aid, the system is light and hardly noticeable.The set allows for uncoupling directly to the body, which offers maximum flexibility.In addition, a protective cap protects the insertion needle from puncture injuries after use.An additional protective cap at the disconnection point provides additional safety when the insulin pump is put down.

Specifications

All MiniMed infusion sets and reservoirs are perfectly coordinated and ensure safe insulin delivery thanks to the MiniMed connection.An audible “click” confirms the secure connection.A silicone membrane makes the reservoir waterproof, and valves in the connector ensure good insulin delivery.

Cannula/needle

The soft cannula is available in lengths of 6 mm and 9 mm.

Hose

The hose is available in lengths of 45 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm and 110 cm.

Insertion aid

The Quick-Serter insertion aid enables the infusion set to be inserted practically painlessly.

Compatibility

The Quick Set is compatible with MiniMed pumps.

Tips

It is recommended to change the quick set and reservoir every 48 to 72 hours.This improves insulin absorption, minimizes the risk of infection and hardening, and prevents clogging of the infusion set.Successful pump therapy depends on good care and adequate protection of the infusion site.
