Systane HYDRATION preservative-free eye drops provide long-lasting relief from moderate, chronic dry eye symptoms. They are suitable for patients suffering from chronic dry eye symptoms or who have dry eye symptoms after LASIK-treatment or cataract surgery. The drops can also be used to moisturise and rewet contact lenses and are suitable for silicone hydrogel contact lenses and all soft contact lenses. They contain hyaluronic acid and HP-guar, which provide greater protection against dehydration. The recommended use is to place 1-2 drops in the affected eye or both eyes as needed, and reseal the dropper bottle after use. It is important to avoid any contact of the dropper tip of the bottle with surfaces to prevent contamination. The drops should only be used on the eye and should not be used if the solution is discoloured or cloudy. The product should be kept out of the reach of children. If persistent eye discomfort, changes in vision, excessive tearing or redness of the eye occur, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. The ingredients of Systane HYDRATION without preservatives include sodium hyaluronate, polyethylene glycol 400, propylene glycol, hydroxypropyl guar, sorbitol, aminomethylpropanol, boric acid, sodium borate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride and purified water.
