Systane® Ultra UD wetting drops are a sterile solution for moisturising the eyes and provide quick relief from dry eye symptoms such as burning and irritation. The wetting drops contain no preservatives and are therefore particularly suitable for sensitive eyes. They can be used daily as needed and are also suitable for contact lens wearers. The drops contain ingredients such as polyethylene glycol 400, propylene glycol, hydroxypropyl guar, sorbitol, aminomethyl propanol, boric acid, potassium chloride and sodium chloride. For dry eyes, the drops can provide quick moisturisation and refreshment and help prevent irritation. It is recommended to follow certain everyday tips, such as avoiding air currents, sufficient humidity in rooms and regular breaks when reading or working in front of a screen for long periods of time. The drops relieve the typical discomfort of dry eyes, such as a feeling of dryness, foreign body sensation, burning eyes, pain and redness. They stabilise the tear film and noticeably relieve the symptoms. The wetting drops can be used daily as needed and are suitable for silicone hydrogel contact lenses and soft contact lenses. However, they are not suitable for cleaning or disinfecting contact lenses.
