Fortacin 150 mg/ml + 50 mg/ml is a spray for application on the skin used to treat premature ejaculation in adult men. It contains the active ingredients lidocaine and prilocaine, which reduce the sensitivity of the glans of the penis to prolong the time before ejaculation. The spray is used at least 5 minutes before sexual intercourse by applying 3 sprays to the glans. A maximum of 3 doses may be used within 24 hours. Fortacin can be used together with condoms made of latex-containing material, but should not be used with latex-free condoms. The medicine may cause symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, tingling of the skin and taste disturbances in case of overdose. It should be stored out of reach of children and at room temperature.
