It also supports the prevention of diseases associated with obesity. The capsules contain chitosan, a natural dietary fibre that has a high fat-binding capacity. It binds fats in food while leaving carbohydrates and sugars untouched. Two capsules should be taken with plenty of liquid before the main meals. In the stomach, chitosan forms a gel-like substance that extracts fat and cholesterol from food and binds them in an insoluble form. Bound fats are excreted undigested. It is recommended to take Doppelherz system FETTBINDER for 12 weeks and it is important to drink enough water or unsweetened drinks as an insoluble gel forms in the stomach. People with diabetes should consult their doctor before taking the product.
