Instructions for use for H&s oak bark tea (160 g)
Area of application
This herbal medicine is used for diarrhea, inflammation of the mouth and throat and for wound treatment.It can be used both internally and externally.
When used internally, it helps with non-specific, acute diarrhea, mild inflammation in the mouth and throat area as well as in the genital and anal areas.Externally, it promotes the formation of scabs in inflammatory skin diseases.
No prescription is required for this product.
Contraindications
There are no known contraindications for internal use.When used externally, the tea should not be used if there is extensive skin damage.Full baths are not suitable for weeping, extensive eczema and skin injuries, febrile and infectious diseases, heart failure stages III and IV (NYHA) and high blood pressure stage IV (WHO).
There are no sufficient studies available for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age.Therefore, preparations made from tea components may not be used by this group of people.
Dosage
The following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed the tea differently.Please adhere to the instructions for use, otherwise the tea will not work properly.
If you have diarrhea, you should drink a cup of tea infusion twice a day.To do this, pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over half a tablespoonful (approx. 1.5 g) and, if necessary, strain it through a tea strainer after about 10-15 minutes.
For rinsing, gargling and preparing poultices, an infusion is prepared in the specified quantity or the required multiples.To do this, pour approx. 100 ml of water over 2 g, heat to the boil for around 10-15 minutes and then strain through a tea strainer.To prepare full and partial baths, 5 g are used in 1 l of water or a multiple thereof.
