Cosmopor® silicone is a sterile quick wound dressing that was specially developed for the gentle and safe covering of wounds on sensitive and damaged skin.The dressing features a skin-friendly, perforated silicone adhesive layer that allows for gentle removal without sticking to the wound or surgical sutures.Despite the gentle adhesion, the bandage offers a strong hold.It is also soft and cushiony, breathable and water-repellent.

Another feature of Cosmopor® silicone is its high absorbency and high retention performance.The viscose wound pad absorbs wound secretions and passes them on to the superabsorbent fibers, where the exudate is permanently trapped.This means that the secretion can no longer get back into the wound.These properties make the quick wound dressing ideal for the gentle care of skin with high demands.

The products are individually sealed and packed in cardboard folding boxes.No prescription is required for this product.

Application

Cosmopor® silicone is suitable for reliable wound coverage for acute and postoperative wounds.Thanks to the silicone adhesive layer, it can be removed gently and is particularly suitable for patients with sensitive and damaged skin.The bandage can also be easily applied with gloves and, due to its suppleness, is suitable for wound care on various areas of the body.
