Information for use with the article OraLactin Oral Probiotic Sachets: - OraLactin is an oral probiotic to support caries and periodontal prophylaxis. It is a natural dental care cosmetic for daily dental and oral care. It contains 30 sachets á 1g with a fresh taste. - The product can be used before and after dental therapy as well as permanently at home. It selectively inhibits pathobiotic bacteria and restores the balance of healthy oral flora. - It promotes the oral immune and infection defence and shows high efficacy according to studies. It also reduces bad breath and protects against caries and periodontitis by suppressing the growth of caries- and periodontal-pathogenic germs. - It supports the barrier function of the marginal epithelium and promotes immune defence and oral health. OraLactin can also replace antibacterial rinses. The pleasant fresh taste makes it comfortable to use. - The product is suitable for all age groups from the age of 3. It is recommended to carry out a 2-week OraLactin pre-treatment of the patient before PA-therapy to support the restoration of a healthy oral microbiome more sustainably than the concomitant administration of systemic antibiotics. - The application is once a day after a meal. The sachet is spread in the oral cavity for 60 seconds and then swallowed. It can either be melted directly in the mouth or mixed in a little water. - Each sachet contains at least one billion probiotic microorganisms from three different strains that can have a beneficial effect on the tongue and oral mucosa. - The ingredients of OraLactin are xylitol, maltodextrin, Lactobacillus Helveticus Rosell-52, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus Rosell-11, Bifidobacterium Longum Rosell-175 and flavour. - The product is manufactured by Cumdente GmbH and is available at Paul-Ehrlich-Straße 11, 72076 Tübingen.
