Antihydral ointment is a product for external use for heavy sweating, especially on the hands, feet and armpits.The active ingredient methenamine has an antiperspirant effect.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Antihydral ointment contains 13% methenamine as an active ingredient.The other ingredients are talc, purified water, zinc oxide, white clay, dye E 172, glycerol, carmellose sodium and a flavoring.

Application

Apply the ointment thinly to the affected areas of skin once or twice a day and allow it to dry.After a few days, the application can be carried out at longer intervals.If the skin becomes too dry, you can use a fatty ointment.Cleanse the skin with water before each new application.The duration of use is determined by the doctor.

Contraindications and precautions

Antihydral ointment must not be used if you are hypersensitive to formaldehyde or other ingredients, on wet or blistered skin areas or on the face.The product should not be used during pregnancy.It must not be used on the breast during breastfeeding.

Side effects

Rarely, skin irritation or hypersensitivity reactions may occur.People with a formaldehyde contact allergy may develop eczema or skin rashes.

Storage

Keep the ointment out of the reach of children and close the tube tightly after use.Do not use the product after the printed expiry date.
