Product features

OpSite Post-OP is a transparent, self-adhesive shower plaster.It is a postoperative wound dressing with a special honeycomb-shaped wound pad that allows a direct view of the wound without having to change the dressing.The bacteria-proof film prevents the penetration of external germs, including MRSA, and thus protects against secondary infections.The transparent and waterproof film allows the patient to shower.High water vapor permeability prevents moisture accumulation and prevents skin maceration.The skin-friendly adhesive reduces the risk of skin irritation, and the elasticity of the film reduces the risk of tension blisters.

OpSite Post-OP Visible offers security through visibility, as signs of infection can be recognized early and countermeasures can be initiated.The bandage can therefore be worn for a longer period of time.The waterproof and bacteria-proof film provides additional protection.The high water vapor permeability reduces the risk of maceration, and the snug, secure fit is guaranteed even on contoured parts of the body.The cushioning, non-adhesive wound pad enables atraumatic dressing changes, and the wound pad has a significantly higher absorption capacity than conventional post-operative dressings.The bandage is latex-free.

Areas of application

OpSite Post-OP is suitable for postoperative wounds with weak to moderate exudation, for example after orthopedic operations such as hip, knee joint, shoulder and spine operations, after cardiac and thoracic operations and gynecological procedures.The bandage can also be used for lacerations, cuts and abrasions.
