OPSITE Post-OP is a special wound dressing for postoperative care.It has a particularly absorbent wound pad that effectively absorbs liquids.The dressing's bacteria-proof film protects the wound from external germs, including MRSA, preventing secondary infections.The transparent and waterproof film allows the patient to shower without having to remove the bandage.The high water vapor permeability minimizes the accumulation of moisture, which prevents skin maceration.

The bandage is equipped with a skin-friendly adhesive that reduces skin irritation.The grid-shaped adhesive application ensures that the bandage can be removed painlessly.The elasticity of the film reduces the risk of tension bubbles.The bandage is also latex-free and adapts well to contoured areas of the body.The cushioning and non-sticky wound cushion makes atraumatic dressing changes easier.

Areas of application

OPSITE Post-OP is suitable for postoperative wounds with weak to moderate exudation.This includes wounds after orthopedic surgeries such as hip, knee, shoulder and spine surgeries, as well as after cardiac and thoracic surgeries and gynecological procedures.The bandage can also be used on lacerations, cuts and abrasions.
