The Vasofix Safety Cannula 20 G 1.1 x 33 mm in pink is an indwelling safety venous cannula with an injection port.It is specifically designed to reduce the risk of needlestick injuries and associated infections.The cannula has a FEP or polyurethane catheter, which allows for placement that is gentle on the veins and an indwelling period without complications.

Product features

The cannula has an atraumatic cannula tip with a 3-facet cut geometry that offers excellent puncture properties.It is equipped with four fully embedded X-ray contrast strips.It also has a hydrophobic blood catcher stopper and a removable locking cone.The cannula is latex and PVC-free and complies with the ISO-standard 10.555-1/5.The colored size coding makes handling easier.

Security features

The Vasofix Safety cannula has self-activating clip technology.The safety clip secures the needle tip immediately after it is pulled out and prevents further usability.The safety mechanism cannot be bypassed, which further increases safety.User habits only need to be adjusted slightly.
