The Vasofix Safety Cannula 18 G 1.3 x 45mm Green is an indwelling safety venous cannula that is equipped with a FEP or polyurethane catheter.This design ensures placement that is particularly gentle on the veins and a complication-free length of stay.The product is available without a prescription.

Product features

The cannula has an integrated injection port that allows medication to be administered quickly without having to puncture again.The atraumatic cannula tip with 3-facet grind geometry ensures excellent puncture properties.There are also four fully embedded X-ray contrast strips in the capillary.A hydrophobic blood catcher plug and a removable locking cone are also integrated.The cannula is latex and PVC-free and complies with the ISO-standard 10.555-1/5.Colored size coding makes handling easier.

Security features

The Vasofix Safety cannula has a self-activating clip technology that secures the needle tip immediately after it is pulled out.This safety clip prevents the needle from being used any further and cannot be bypassed.The application requires only minor adjustments to the user's habits.
