Floradix with iron is a special herbal tonic for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency symptoms.Floradix with iron is particularly ideal for pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as for women who want to have children.It is also traditionally used for general strengthening and strengthening.Floradix with iron can also be used to improve performance in athletes.

Mode of action

Floradix with iron primarily contains easily usable, organically bound, divalent iron and herbal extracts that specifically promote blood formation and activate oxygen supply.

Contraindications

The product must not be taken if you are known to be hypersensitive to one of the ingredients, have iron utilization disorders or have excessive accumulation of iron in the body.

Dosage

Recommended use of Floradix with iron.Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents aged 10 and over take 45 ml per day.45 ml Floradix with iron contains 36.8 mg usable iron(II).The dosage can be chosen as follows: 2 x 22.5 ml (morning and evening) or 3 x 15 ml (morning, lunch and evening).Children aged 6-10: 2 x 15 ml. It is not intended for use in children under 6 years of age.Shake before use.It is best taken chilled ½ hour before meals.

Pregnancy

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product should only be taken after a doctor has diagnosed iron deficiency or on a doctor's orders.

Notes

Floradix with iron must be closed immediately after use and stored in the refrigerator.Shelf life 4 weeks after opening.15 ml corresponds to approx. 0.3 BE.

Side effects

Possible side effects include gastrointestinal complaints such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea and constipation.In addition, the stool may turn black, which is harmless, and the teeth may become discolored, which can be avoided through good oral hygiene.If you notice any discomfort or change during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Important notes

The urine may become discolored.Be careful if you are allergic to iron hydroxide sucrose, ascorbic acid, spices, daisy plants, yeast or any of the other ingredients.If you have an intolerance to fructose or glucose and fructose, the sugar content should be taken into account.There may be medicines with which interactions occur.Coffee, cola drinks, mate tea and green and black tea should be avoided during treatment.Milk and dairy products, as well as mineral water, calcium-fortified drinks and mineral supplements, should be avoided within 2 hours before and 4 hours after intake.
