Instructions for use of Hexacyl

Hexacyl is a homeopathic medicine for use in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.It is used as a supportive treatment for functional disorders of the liver, bile and kidneys.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredients of Hexacyl are Sulfur D4, Lycopodium mother tincture and Berberis mother tincture.Other ingredients are ethanol 43% (m/m) and purified water.

Areas of application

The areas of application of Hexacyl are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures.This includes supportive treatment for functional disorders of the liver, bile and kidneys.The ingredients of Hexacyl show a similar spectrum of effects in their homeopathic medicine pictures.The main symptoms of each individual substance are congestion in the venous portion of the circulatory system.This results in characteristic disorders in other organs, especially the liver and kidneys.

The following symptoms are crucial for homeopathic repertorization:

- The detoxification functions of the liver and kidneys are inhibited (uric acid diathesis), rigidity occurs with a tendency to stone formation in the gall or urinary bladder.

- Various complaints of the gastrointestinal tract due to insufficient production of the various digestive juices.

- Skin changes, e.g. dry or purulent eczema with severe itching and redness, especially at body openings, are further indications of poor metabolism.

- Tension and pain in the musculoskeletal system with great weakness.

- Cardiac disorders as a result of congestion in the hepatic and portal circulation.

The main symptoms are: severe burning and itching, exhaustion, worsening due to heat, cold and rest.Improvement with fresh air, moderate exercise.Hexacyl is indicated for the removal of all toxic or infectious damage with increased protein breakdown such as food and beverage intolerance, infections and intoxications.

Application

In acute conditions, adults and young people aged 12 and over take 5-10 drops every half to an hour, a maximum of 12 times a day.For chronic forms, take 5 drops 1-3 times a day.Take the drops with some drinking water.

Side effects

None known.Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any side effects.Note: When taking homeopathic medicines, the existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation).In this case you should stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor.

Contraindications

Hexacyl should not be used in alcoholics.Hexacyl should only be used in liver disease after consulting a doctor.There is no adequately documented experience with the use of this medicine in children.It should therefore not be used on children under 12 years of age, also because of the alcohol content.

Interactions

Interactions with other medicines are not known.Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

Precautions

Hexacyl should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding because of the alcohol content.Before taking/using any medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Storage

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the bottle label and the outer packaging.Do not store above 25°C.
