Omnican 100 is a disposable insulin syringe specifically designed for U100 insulin.Each syringe holds 1 ml and contains 100 international units (IU) of insulin.The syringe has an integrated cannula with a diameter of 0.30 mm and a length of 8 or 12 mm.

Properties

The Omnican 100 insulin syringe is characterized by a scale graduation of 2 I.U.which enables precise dosing.The scale is large and easy to read.The syringe needle is thin-walled and has an extremely fine 3-facet cut and a special silicone coating.Protective caps on the ends of the syringe guarantee its sterility.The highly transparent barrel of the syringe allows air bubbles to be easily identified.The syringe piston is equipped with a double sealing ring and has an integrated piston stop.The cylinder has a round shape with a black scale.The materials the syringe is made of include PP, PS, IR, PE, stainless steel and silicone oil.The syringe is latex free, PVC-free and DEHP-free.The available sizes are 30G x 8mm and 30G x 12mm.The dead volume is 0.4 µL for the 8 mm version and 0.5 µL for the 12 mm version.The syringes are available individually packaged, either in retail units of 100 or in polybags containing 10 x 10 syringes.The syringe meets the requirements of EN ISO 8537:2008.
