Instructions for use of Dermapharm basic cream
Dermapharm Basic Cream is an agent for interval treatment, also known as phase therapy, for various skin diseases that have previously been treated with corticosteroids.These include chronic eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.The cream is also suitable for follow-up treatment after corticosteroid therapy.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients
The cream contains the following active ingredients and excipients: 2.5 mg citric acid, 5 mg diammonium hydrogen citrate, 50 mg cetyl alcohol, 140 mg isopropyl palmitate, 70 mg cetyl palmitate, 50 mg glycerol monostearate, 60 mg polysorbate 60, 2 mg benzoic acid and 620.5 mg purified water per gram of cream.
Contraindications
Dermapharm base cream must not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.Avoid getting the cream on open wounds or in the eyes.Benzoic acid can cause mild irritation to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes, while cetyl alcohol can cause localized skin irritation.
Dosage and application
The usual dosage is 2-3 times a day, with the cream being applied to the affected skin areas and rubbed in lightly.As part of an interval treatment, Dermapharm base cream and the external corticosteroid should be used alternately for about four days each.The cream can also be used over a longer period of time for follow-up treatment.
If you have used a larger amount of the cream than intended, you can continue treatment with the specified dosage, as no adverse effects are to be expected in the event of a short-term overdose.If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.Do not stop use abruptly as this could jeopardize the success of the treatment.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Dermapharm Basic Cream can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Possible side effects include allergic skin reactions such as burning and redness in the event of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Storage
Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date stated on the tube and carton.
