Instructions for use of Panalgan ampoules

Panalgan is a homeopathic medicine used to treat wear-and-tear diseases of the joints.The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug images.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and composition

One ampoule of Panalgan contains 1 ml of liquid dilution for injection.The active ingredients are Acidum sulfuricum Dil.D8 and Viscum album Dil.D8, 0.5 ml each per ampoule.

Areas of application

Panalgan is used for wear-and-tear diseases of the joints.It should only be used after the symptoms have been clarified by a doctor.

Dosage instructions, type and duration of application

Adults receive an injection of 1 ampoule of Panalgan intracutaneously into wheals over the affected joint.The injection is carried out with a fine cannula into 4 wheals at intervals of approximately 2 cm.The injections are repeated 1 to 3 times a week until successful and can be carried out on an outpatient basis.Homeopathic medicines should also not be used for long periods of time without medical advice.

Contraindications

Panalgan must not be used if you have a known allergy to mistletoe preparations, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.Therapy with this medicine must not be carried out while taking anticoagulant medication or if there are infections at the injection sites.

Interactions with other medicines

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Side effects

The following side effects are known for mistletoe preparations: slight increase in body temperature, localized inflammatory reactions around the puncture site of the subcutaneous injection and temporary slight swelling of regional lymph nodes.These reactions are harmless.In the event of intolerance to mistletoe, local or general allergic or allergy-like reactions may occur, which require discontinuation of the preparation and immediate medical treatment.

Notes

When using a homeopathic medicine, the existing symptoms can temporarily worsen (initial aggravation).In this case you should stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage conditions and shelf life

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.Panalgan should not be used after the expiry date stated on the container and outer packaging.This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
