Magnesium AL 243 mg effervescent tablets is a mineral preparation that is used in cases of proven magnesium deficiency.This deficiency can be the cause of disorders of muscle activity, such as neuromuscular disorders or leg cramps.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Magnesium AL 243 mg effervescent tablets is light magnesium oxide, which corresponds to 243 mg magnesium ions per effervescent tablet.Each effervescent tablet contains 403.0 to 435.2 mg of light magnesium oxide.

The other ingredients are: malic acid, anhydrous citric acid, potassium hydrogen carbonate, mannitol, sodium carbonate, sodium chloride, sodium cyclamate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, rice starch, sodium saccharin, simeticone and lemon flavor.

Note for diabetics: 1 effervescent tablet corresponds to 0.01 bread units (BE).The physiological calorific value per effervescent tablet is 38 kJ (8.8 kcal).

Dosage and application

Always take Magnesium AL 243 mg effervescent tablets exactly as directed.The dosage depends on the degree of magnesium deficiency.The average daily dose is 1 to 2 effervescent tablets, which corresponds to 243 to 486 mg magnesium ions.

Dosage recommendations:

Children from 6 years: 1 effervescent tablet once daily.

Adolescents and adults: 1 effervescent tablet 1 to 2 times daily.

In severe magnesium deficiency, higher doses may be indicated under medical supervision and monitoring of electrolyte balance.

Please dissolve 1 effervescent tablet in a glass of water and drink the entire glass.

The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the underlying magnesium deficiency.Long-term high-dose magnesium intake should be monitored by a doctor.

Storage

Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children.You must not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton after “Use by” and the expiry date on the tube.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Important notes

Contains sodium and potassium.Be careful if you are allergic to the sweetener cyclamate (E number E 952) or saccharin (E number E 954).Be careful if you have an intolerance to fructose (fruit sugar).If you have to follow a diabetes diet, you should consider the sugar content.
